The camera as an object is very important to me. Photography and film go together as the only arts to almost fully capture human life, the sound and the sight. As the camera as an object has moved away from being its own object and towards being just a feature of the latest phone, the ethos of the camera has also been lost. When photos become less of art and more of tool for humanity, that is when i think the camera will have died.

Art

I think far too many people think of art as a function for telling a story, or a function of talent, and less of a emotional experience. When people begin criticize art solely on the basis on effort put in, or complexity of the story is when art is seen as a tool more than an emotional medium. art should be a release for the artist and a way for the viewer to understand the artist, or a themselves.
